Over 700 youngsters from 48 teams will take part in the Kappa Alpha Psi Pee Wee Football Tournament on Saturday.

The tournament is expected to kick off at 8:30am at the North Fields at the National Centre. Teams will be competing in the Under-7, Under-9 and Under-11 age divisions with the winners crowned sometime around 7pm.

Organizer Jamal Hart it's the largest tournament of its kind for young footballers.

"It has been around for nine years now and has grown in popularity," Hart said. "There will be a food court there and each stall will be selling something different. We'll also have a fun castle and face painting so it's very much a family orientated day."
