BAD member Jamel Hardtman has said he will return to Bermuda to attend any future court hearings.

As we reported last week, Mr. Hardtman is heading to Johnson and Wales University in the U.S. to study for a Masters in Global Business Leadership next month.

The 28-year-old was arrested earlier this month by Regiment Police for “failing to perform his military duties”.

But he was released after an injunction was granted in the Supreme Court by Puisne Judge Ian Kawaley.

A court hearing will take place in the coming months.

Mr. Hardtman said he was going abroad for purely education reasons and would return to Bermuda whenever he was required to do so.
