FRIDAY, OCT. 12: The Hog Penny Pub was packed on Friday with party people who had come to be in Will Black’s music video.

The Canadian rocker invited fans to dance, sing and generally have fun with their friends as camerman and director Milton Raposo shot footage of the fun.

Black told the Bermuda Sun: “Last Friday night turned out to be both a great performance from my band Hogfish and an awesome turnout for the video.

“With Hog Penny being such an intimate environment to begin with, I wasn’t looking for a huge crowd as much as an enthusiastic one — and they certainly showed up!

“The atmosphere was electric and fun — exactly what a rock n’ roll show should be all about.

“I’ve seen some preliminary footage from director Milton Raposo’s camera and it looks great.

“He really captured the live feel I was after with the energy of the band and the crowd.”

The music video will be released along with the MP3 single for Pretty Garden on November 1, exclusively via his upcoming album campaign at PledgeMusic.com.

The final video will be used to help promote a bigger album project Black has in the works.

The album is Black’s second album — his debut was Dancing With The Dead released in 2008.

The title track was nominated Best Rock Song at the 2008 Ontario Independent Music Awards.
