TUESDAY, AUG. 31: A man was convicted of shooting a teenager in the back at the Royal Artillery Association Club in St. George’s.

Dwayne Signor was found guilty this afternoon of possessing a firearm and wounding Shawn Williams in the early hours of April 4, this year.

Signor, 28, was cleared of the more serious charges of attempted murder and firing a loaded weapon with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

His co-defendant, Khyri Smith-Williams, was cleared of bringing the gun to the RAA Club and walked free from court.

Signor, of St. George’s was remanded in custody and a sentencing date will be arranged on October 1.
