A jury has been sworn in for the trial of two men accused of being involved in the Royal Artillery Association Club shooting.

Dwayne Signor is accused of attempting to murder Shawn Williams at the club in St. George’s on April 4, this year.

The 28-year-old of St George’s also faces charges of firing a loaded gun at Mr. Williams as well as possessing a firearm and ammunition.

His co-defendant, Khyri Smith-Williams, is accused of carrying a firearm on the same date.

The 19-year-old of Sandys also faces a charge of going armed in public to cause terror.

Both men have pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Yesterday morning a jury of eight women and four men was chosen to hear the trial at Supreme Court.

Mr. Signor is represented by lawyer Marc Daniels while Mr. Smith-Williams is represented by Jerome Lynch QC.

The case will start today and is expected to last three weeks.
